Following the cleaning phase, preparing the roof with the IG1015 primer is the second step in applying the F System for flat elastomeric roofs. This product promotes the adhesion of waterproofing materials to the roof surface, ensuring a perfect seal. Additionally, much like a paint primer, IG1015’s opacity helps even out the surface color and improves its appearance after the application of the IG8500 joint sealant and the final IG8000 waterproofing layer.

The IG1015 primer is a resin for creating liquid membranes on existing roofing. It adheres to various surfaces such as EPDM rubber, PVC, Hypalon (chlorosulfonated polyethylene), concrete, modified bitumen, and BUR asphalt roofs. It is recommended as an anti-bleeding agent for silicone roofing coverings or as a base coat for concrete, uncoated CMU masonry, or EIFS walls with proper finishing afterwards.
