Product IG5500 is part of the M System for metal roofs. It is applied after cleaning with IG0115 and following the IG1019 rust primer if necessary. It is used to seal joints, openings, screw heads, or any areas particularly vulnerable to water infiltration. It is available in gun-grade quality for easy application with a pump or roller. For thicker consistency, choose IG5500 Mastic.
IG5500 is a high-quality sealant for joints, metal flashings, and fasteners. It is suitable for sealing and repairing metal, built-up, TPO, modified bitumen, and single-layer roofs.
The IG5500 is 100% synthetic rubber, without asphalt or bitumen (contains antioxidants, light stabilizers, and reinforcing fibers).
