Product 5500 Mastic is part of the M System for metal roofs. It is applied after cleaning with IG0115 and following the IG1019 rust primer if necessary. It is used to seal joints, openings, screw heads, or any areas particularly vulnerable to water infiltration. 5500 Mastic has a high, semi-self-leveling viscosity and is applied by a professional using a trowel or brush. For a lower-viscosity option, select the regular IG5500 product.
Lucas 5500M is a high-quality sealant for joints, metal flashings, and fasteners. It is suitable for sealing and repairing metal, built-up, TPO, modified bitumen, and single-layer roofs.
The 5500M sealant is 100% synthetic rubber, without asphalt or bitumen (contains antioxidants, light stabilizers, and reinforcing fibers).
